My K-Skincare Routine - Step by Step
Before you start your K-Beauty routine, take a moment to understand your skin type - dry, oily, combination, or sensitive.
Knowing your skin helps you choose the right products and avoid irritation. Think of it as a small self-care ritual: getting to know your skin is the first step to glowing from the inside out.
Oil Cleanser
Cleansing oil is the first step in a Korean skincare routine.
The key is double cleansing: the oil gently melts away makeup, sunscreen, and impurities, then the foaming cleanser finishes the job, making sure your skin is truly clean and ready to absorb the rest of your products.
Foaming Cleanser
A water-based cleanser is the second step in the double cleansing routine.
It removes any remaining dirt, sweat, and oil, leaving your skin completely clean and ready to absorb your serums and moisturizers. Think of it as finishing the job your oil cleanser started – your skin will feel fresh, soft, and balanced.
Toner
After cleansing, using a toner is one of the most important steps in your routine.
It helps rebalance your skin’s pH, hydrate, and prep it to absorb the next products, it removes any leftover impurities and refreshes your skin, making it soft and ready for serums and moisturizers.
Serum / Ampoule
Serums are highly concentrated treatments packed with active ingredients like hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, or peptides.
After toner, they penetrate deeply to target specific skin concerns like hydration, brightening, or anti-aging.
Using a serum consistently can make a noticeable difference over time.
Mask
Mooost relaxing step in your routine
A purifying mask is a great way to deeply cleanse your skin, remove impurities, and refresh your complexion.
Sheet masks, on the other hand, are a fun treat for your skin. You don’t need them every day, and they give hydration, nutrients, and a soft, plump glow.
Eye Cream + Moisturizer
Now it’s time to seal in all the goodness with an eye cream and a moisturizer.
Eye cream gently nourishes the delicate under-eye area, helping to reduce dryness and prevent fine lines.
Moisturizer keeps your skin hydrated, soft, and balanced, protecting it throughout the day or night.
